Jenn Page

DIRECTOR

Jenn Page is an accomplished feature and series director who was selected by Take The Lead as one of the “50 Women who Can Change The World in Media & Entertainment.” She’s filmed projects for/with internationally known brands and artists including Marvel's Agents of Shield, The Voice, The Mindy Project, Blackmagic Design, Panic at the Disco, Weezer, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wolfmother, Estee Lauder, and Hans Zimmer. Directing musical works is her passion as can be seen in her many features, digital series, and short films.

Summer Walters

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Executive Producer and actress Summer Walters first collaborated with Director Jenn Page on the short film "Mother's Cure," and the success of that and other projects led them to team up again for the ambitious "Playing with Beethoven."  Summer grew up in Detroit, Michigan, in a musical family, including her parents, who were opera singers.  She attended Wayne State University, where she majored in Theatre Arts.  She is a member of Friends of LA Opera and supports LA Opera’s Education and Community Engagement Programs, which benefit children who wouldn’t have access to classical music otherwise.

Chris Edgar

COMPOSER / PRODUCER

Composer and songwriter Chris Edgar has written music for film, theater, TV, and digital series. Chris has scored award-winning films, including the movie musical The Breakout: A Rock Opera, which won numerous film festival awards for Best Feature Film, and the animated musical Steve’s Quest, which won the International Academy of Web Television award for Best Animated Series. Edgar has also toured as a drummer with signed recording artists, and produced music for artists in various genres, including his own band "Do Not Bend."

Catherine Shefski

WRITER

Screenwriter Catherine Shefski is a classical pianist. With degrees from New England Conservatory and the Guildhall School of Music in London, she has immersed herself in the music world as performer and teacher, as well as through her work in arts management. Catherine has written extensively on the topic of teaching and inspiring the 21st century piano student with music from Bach and Beethoven to popular hits of today.

Brandon Poller

PRODUCER

After graduating from SDSU, Brandon quickly got into producing when he was hired by Habitat for Humanity to produce their events.  Brandon used his skills there to build partnerships, raise money, budget projects, get permits and manage a small team that needed big results. He ended his contract with over 8 events with the organization, one being the California Dream-Walk, which was their most successful one to date. After that Brandon moved from event production to film production. He has helped produce multiple films, most recently award-winning  The 716th (Tribeca Film Festival) and Cazadora (IndieFest/Comic Con).

David Schatanoff Jr

PRODUCER

David Schatanoff has navigated the worlds of film and television as a producer. He began his career working in post-production for the major studios including 20th Century Fox and later for Sony, servicing multi-million dollar deals. Becoming more involved with development and production, he made the transition to producer and has since produced the award-winning, digital series L.A. Macabre, and the indie feature films The Lengths, and Claire. Playing With Beethoven marks a much anticipated collaboration with director Jenn Page.
